Graydon
Healing hands, die-hard fan—Graydon does it all.

Graydon has always believed in figuring things out from the ground up. Whether it’s how the human body heals, how to break down a game-winning play, or how to beat a tricky level in a video game, he’s the kind of person who likes to understand the mechanics behind everything.
His interest in medicine was sparked early on by his father, a psychiatrist, whose ability to help countless people inspired Graydon to pursue a career in healing. This eventually led him to acupuncture, though it wasn’t something he ever planned. After experiencing the benefits of acupuncture firsthand, when an acupuncturist helped him with a shoulder injury, Graydon realized it was the path he was meant to take. Like many things in his life, it just clicked—the idea that the body is a connected system, not just a collection of parts. Acupuncture felt right to him, and once Graydon started learning, he never looked back.
From Learning to Healing
Graydon didn’t just want to memorize acupuncture points or follow a set protocol—he wanted to understand the “why” behind it, how to adapt treatments to meet each person’s needs, and how to help people feel better without relying on temporary solutions. Over the years, he’s worked with a wide range of patients, from athletes recovering from injuries to individuals dealing with chronic pain, stress, and tension they didn’t even realize they were carrying. Each case taught him something new, reinforcing his belief in the interconnectedness of the body and the importance of treating the root cause, not just the symptoms.
At Axis Natural Medicine, Graydon focuses on:

Every patient, every treatment, every conversation is another piece of the puzzle, and Graydon is always looking for ways to refine what he does and make acupuncture as effective as possible for the people who trust him with their care.
Outside the Clinic

When he’s not helping patients, Graydon is usually immersed in something he loves—whether it’s sports, gaming, or diving into something that sparks his curiosity. He’s a huge fan of football and baseball and can talk for hours about the intricacies of each game, analyzing plays, stats, and team strategies like it’s second nature. Graydon’s teams? The Buffalo Bills and Toronto Blue Jays, through every win, loss, and everything in between. His commitment to following them is year-round, from the regular season to the NFL combine and draft. He’s there for it all, engaging deeply with the highs and lows of every season.
In addition to sports, Graydon is a passionate gamer. He’s not just into games for entertainment, but also for the challenge they bring. Whether it’s a competitive match in Fortnite or getting into a sports game on his Xbox, Graydon is constantly engaged, testing his skills and enjoying the thrill of the game. While he enjoys a good challenge, it’s not about strategy and problem-solving alone; it’s the enjoyment of being immersed in a world where he can let loose and have fun. Gaming is his way of turning off the outside world and focusing on something he loves.
When he’s not deep into sports or gaming, Graydon enjoys winding down with a good book or hanging out with his pets. He also stays up-to-date on the latest trends, reading up on whatever catches his interest each week. Sometimes, though, the best way for him to reset is by simply relaxing and doing something low-key, allowing his mind to recharge so he can jump back into his next challenge with fresh energy.
What’s Next?
Graydon is always looking for ways to expand his knowledge and contribute to the growth of your CEU classes. Whether diving into new educational strategies or improving course materials, he’s focused on offering students and fellow practitioners more. His mission is to make continuing education accessible, engaging, and practical for practitioners at every stage of their career.
No matter what Graydon is doing, you can be sure a cat isn’t far behind. Whether he’s deep into a project or just relaxing, his two cats are always by his side, adding a little joy and comfort to his day. Their playful interruptions or quiet company are reminders that sometimes the simplest moments with animals are the best way to recharge.
